South Petherton Village Circular Walk
Meet at 11.15am - Start and Finish at the Market Square.
The Village footpath circular walk takes place on the first Sunday of
each month throughout the year. Each monthly walk has a different leader,
a different route and lasts approximately an hour and a half, back just
in time for lunch.
Boots always advisable, wellies if the previous days have been wet.

CARDBOARD AND PAPER RECYCLING
In recent months it has not been possible to recycle cardboard and paper in South Petherton as agreement on a site for the large container that used to be in Prigg Lane car park has not been reached. Some residents might find it convenient to use the cardboard and paper recycling which continues each month in Seavington in the car park by the Millennium Hall in Seavington. There is also a container for recycling clothes and shoes for the Air Ambulance Funds at the same time
The dates when the container will be there are: 11 - 14 July 2008, 8 - 11 August , 12 - 15 September , 10 - 13 October, 14 - 17 November , 12 - 15 December.
